The Year is 2385...

The United Federation of Planets has been struggling for the past decade to recover from the brutal devastation of the Dominion War. With thousands of systems to routinely patrol, Starfleet has divided their forces into various Fleets, each with their own specific region and purpose.

Of those, Horizon Fleet is the newest and the most advanced. Charged with patrolling the vast space from the Breen Confederacy all the way to the Romulan border, Horizon Fleet is the Federation's first line of defense in the event of invasion by the Breen, the Borg, or our newest adversaries, the Elyshan Empire.

We are the loyal members of Task Force 42. Our mission - to defend the Fleet, the Federation, and all of the planets within our space and beyond. We are here to protect those who cannot protect themselves, and fend off those who know only conflict, greed, and corruption.

A few minor updates

    There's been just a few minor updates to the site since the beginning of the month. The Xanadu and Minoru are now available commands, and the USS Paladin has been replaced by the Steamrunner-class USS Olympus. I'll be working on some tweaks to the main page in the month to come so that we can more readily see what ships are available and/or which ones need crew the most.

 

Change of Command

   There have been quite a few staffing changes recently. First off, I have the unfortunate duty to report that Rear Admiral Ocal has resigned as Task Force CO. I am pleased, however, that she is staying on as Commander of the USS Frontier. The Fleet Council has, after an application process, decided that I am the best candidate for the position. They have also promoted me to the Rank of Rear Admiral.

    There have also been several ships moved around between our two task groups and the two task forces. Captain Joseph Boston has been brought over from TF 22 to fill the TGCO position in 42-A, and Commander Collins has also been transferred to the task force. Finally, Captain Krace has been transferred from 42-B to 42-A.

 

A Few Updates

    There have been a few staffing changes since the new year started, so the site has been updated to relect those changes. We are pleased to welcome Lieutenant Commander Nailah Zimmah to the Task Force as CO of the USS Paladin!

 

42 now fully staffed!

    I've updated the site to reflect promotions and new commanding officers. We are now fully staffed! I will be working on getting any missing images taken care of over Christmas break. Check back regularly for new updates!

 

Promotions, New Ships, New CO's, Oh My!

    I've updated the site to reflect the promotions of several CO's, including Captain Elso and myself to Commodore. I have also added the USS Paladin to 42-B to replace the USS Diligence. We also have Lt. Commander th'Razh as CO of the USS Niagara.

 

Task Group Musical Chairs

   There's been a few shake-ups in the fleet. As a result, I would like to welcome Captains Krace and Wong of the USS Iapetus and USS Arondight to Task Force 42!

Ship Listings Updated
